In this video we will be showing you how to highlight a cell or row a certain color when a checkbox is clicked. Excel gives us various tools to create sophisticated spreadsheets, but learning how to combine these tools and enhancing their complexities allows us to bring our spreadsheets to the next level. This tutorial will reveal how combing user form controls and conditional formatting is a great start for creating more interactive and dynamic Excel spreadsheets.

Form Controls: are objects which you can place onto an Excel Worksheet which give you the functionality to interact with your models data.

Conditional Formatting: is a tool that allows you to apply formats to a cell or range of cells, and have that formatting change depending on the value of the cell or the value of a formula.

Is there a way to apply the link for true or false of a checkbox to multiple cells at a time? Your example uses three, which is easy to do manually, but I have a spreadsheet of over 100 checkboxes!
